Hello, I am helping sell my moms xxxx Mustang Convertible. She has decided to let this beautiful car go! She is the third owner. She bought it from a professor of engineering at Case Western Reserve who bought it from his friend who was the first owner. He took the car to Case Western where he and the students restored part of it, but basically had a lot of the work done elsewhere as well. There are invoices showing the different repairs done over the years. My mom did not buy this car to be a trailer queen or a show car. She bought it to drive and enjoy! It has never been in rain or snow since she purchased it. The car does not have any visible rust. I have posted 24 photos and have another 32 I can send to anyone who requests them. I had never really paid a lot of attention to the fine details of the car since she purchased it. To be honest, i was amazed at how nice this car really is! My mom asked me to help her sell the car, I went up to see her and started snapping photos and came to the realization of how well this car had been restored. The motor is not the original motor that it came off the factory line with but it is the correct motor for the year and model. My mom estimates that the motor itself has around 60k on it. It runs great, in fact i just hung up the phone with her getting details on the car so we could list it and she had just gotten back from running around town in it! I encourage questions, this is a big ticket item to be purchasing and understand completely! It will be a lot easier to explain the details over the phone or via email. We prefer the winning buyer picks up the car in Sandusky Ohio but we are willing to work with the winner and have it shipped if necessary.
